Wreckage in Space

Today I decided to try my luck at scanning for hidden treasures in space. Its a key skill to learn if you want to find wormholes or rare ore. I found this one site that looked promising however, when I arrived I recieved the following message. As you can see all I found was the wreckage from some battle long ago. Who ever they were or who ever did this they are long gone... I was able to sift through the wreckage and find some salavage. It was kind of cool because I felt like I was in one of those old science fiction shows back on Earth....

Core Compentency Completed!

Today I successfully finished skilling up all of the skills that are the core skills in EVE. Basically these are the skills that included targeting, Energy generation, and Fitting. These are the basic skills that you need to learn to be come a great pilot. Since I leveled all of them as high as possible I can now start training on other things. I want to go back to my mining skills and start working on training the skills to process the rare ores. These ores are hard to find and hard to accquire however, they can easily sell for millions or billions ^^

Trying something new...

I decided to cross-train in flying Caldari ships. Normally I only fly Gallente ships but I saw this really cool looking battleship called a Scorpion. As you can see in the picture its a ship that looks just like a scorpion.

A cool mission

I was doing this mission where I had to find some cargo and bring it back to my mission agent. I show up and blow up all the nearby hostile ships. After all the ships were blown up, I couldn't find the cargo. It was then I noticed this Bestower docked at a nearby space dock. I was thinking that there's no way nothing could be inside, but I had to be sure. So I blew it up and lo and behold there was the cargo I was looking for. So I grabbed the cargo and flew back to my mission agent for my reward. Im not a fan of the Amarr ships, personally I feel that they have no individuality as a ship. I feel that if you are going to pilot a ship it should be something that you are proud of and has some personality to it.

Low Sec PVP Op

Today I joined up with some corp members and we went into low security space to go hunt other people. I wanted to bring my interdictor but I couldn't use the interdiction system and I had to get another ship. I brought a super fast interceptor instead. After about 30 minutes of not being able to find any ships to attack we decided to camp out at a gate. That was a horrible mistake! Apparently, a bunch of enemy pilots found us and attacked us with a very large fleet of ships. I was the only survivor because I was easily able to outrun anyone who tried to attack me. Everyone else wasn't so lucky. However, one of the highlights of this PVP op was that I almost got to see a carrier for the first time. We detected the carrier but by the timeI arrived it already moved on. I would have liked to have seen that ship.....

Anyhow the moral is that the hunter became the prey. Don't be the prey!

Missioning

I was doing a mission today and I noticed that there was a Megatron Battleship being contructed at the shipyard. The Megatron is a great battleship because it does well at long-range combat. The best part I like about this ship is that it looks like a standard military ship that you might see today. If there was a ship that closely resembled a flagship of an armada this would be the ship. Personally, I don't know if I would want one because I prefer my Hyperion instead. However, both ships are great ships to have because they can withstand INCREDIBLE amounts of punishment and still be able to dish it out to the enemy.

My Training Plan

One of the things I'm working on is getting a new Jump Clone. A jump clone or JC for short is basically a clone of yourself. With this clone I can transfer my consciousness to the clone once every 24 hours. This is a good thing because my clone can be on the other side of the known universe and I can hop into my other self a lot faster than trying to fly from system to system. As it turns out the faction I was working with Astral Mining Inc. doesn't have the medical facilities to purchase JC's. However, I found another faction Duvolle Laboratories that does sell JC's but I haven't worked with them very much. So I'm working on raising my standing with them. I can then get my Jump clone that I want.
