I was in a mining op with some corp mates and I noticed that one of them brought an Orca to the mining op. The orca is basically a mining capital ship that helps out the other miners by improving their ships and is also a large floating storage container. When at a mining op its the mobile command center of the operation. As I was mining, it pulled behind me and it looks like Im part of it. It was kind of cool looking and awesome. Also the corp wh opened today and I was able to get all my stuff that was locked inside.
As I fly through the vastness of space, I document my travels for all other pilots to see.

The cost of war
My corporation Pulse Industries got war decced today. Its been awhile since theres been a war dec so its kind of nice to go PvP for a change. So far the corp losses have been minimal. I myself haven't lost anything yet. The worst part of this war is that before war broke out I just finished setting up a 2nd colony on a gas planet in 0.0 space. The colony was able to find a motherlode of resources. So many resources in fact that the storage facilities are overflowing! Normally this wouldn't be a bad thing however, with the war dec going on I can't risk losing my cargo to enemy pilots. So I've had to juggle the merchandise from storage facility to storage facility. It's my hope that this war doesn't last too long, I would really like to go retrieve my merchandise and get paid soon...

Planetary Interaction In Wormhole Space
I've finally done it! I've started moving assets into wormhole space. This means that I'll be able to make alot of money and have a base of operations to work out of. I started off by setting up on a barren planet. Even though there's no life on this planet, there is still alot of resources that I can extract from it. As you can see from my photo, my base is fairly big. I still have some bugs to workout but once thats done I will have a solid cash crop to farm out of. Its very exciting and its in wormhole space. I have a transport ship with cloaking device that will be perfect to evade any enemy pilots , grab the cargo and get out safely.

Manufacturing Success!
After collecting all of those ores from the asteriod belt. I had to transport them to a refinery to smelt them into precious minerals and use that to make stuff. I had so many materials that I was able to make some parts for my Obelisk transport! Using the left over materials, I built a Thorax crusier. I sold the cruiser on the open market and head back to mine some more. Not bad for hard day's work.
Every miner for himself!
A fellow corp member was scanning for stuff in the Arraron system when he finds an asteroid belt full of low sec ores like Jaspet, Kernite, and Omber. So we quickly mobilize and get all our ships out to the belt. As we were mining another corporation arrives to try and mine the belt as well! So now its a free for all to see who can mine to most ore out of the belt. The other corporation didn't have all the mining resources that we did. They showed up in pvp kind of ships like a Megathron. Which is kind of funny because we all thought that the Megathron was going to shoot at us but it started shooting mining lasers at the asteroids. Anyhow, we were able to out mine the rival corp and I was able to collect a fairly large stash of ore that I intend to use it to build and manufacture capital ship parts.

Things so far..
Lately I've been busy with real-life stuff and haven't had a chance to update my blog as much as I would like. However, I have been doing ice mining in Tolle. I have collected a small stockpile of ice that I will eventually sell on the open market for alot money. On top of that I've been doing some solo mining for materials to finish building parts for my Obelisk frieghter. Some ways back the corp I was in was at war with another corp and I was transporting goods in my Obby. I got jumped by the enemy pilots and rather than let them blow up my ship, I set the self-destruct and got into an escape pod. While it was really cool watching the faces on the enemy pilots as their prize goes nuclear right in front of them. The obby is a 400 million dollar price tag on it. It makes it VERY hard to replace something like that! The good news is that Im slowly but surely building a new one.
